學(xué)院簡介

四川大學(xué)匹茲堡學(xué)院是由四川大學(xué)與美國匹茲堡大學(xué)（美國新聞與世界報(bào)道2022年全球大學(xué)排名第42位）合作成立的中外聯(lián)合學(xué)院，是兩所享有國際聲譽(yù)的中美名校強(qiáng)強(qiáng)聯(lián)合進(jìn)行國際化辦學(xué)的新模式，是教育部于2014年正式批準(zhǔn)的中美頂尖研究型大學(xué)合作機(jī)構(gòu)。學(xué)院引入國際一流大學(xué)的辦學(xué)理念、ABET認(rèn)證的課程體系、全球公開招聘的師資及優(yōu)質(zhì)教育資源，融合兩校的學(xué)術(shù)及教育優(yōu)勢，采用全英語授課方式，目前開設(shè)計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)與技術(shù)、電子信息工程、工業(yè)工程、機(jī)械設(shè)計(jì)制造及其自動化、材料科學(xué)與工程五個(gè)本科專業(yè)。

Sichuan University-Pittsburgh Institute (SCUPI), located in Chengdu, China, invites applications for full-time, non-tenure track teaching faculty at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Teaching Professor in Computer Science. These non-tenure-line faculty positions are primarily for teaching. Engagement in scholarly research is not required, though encouraged. Positions are expected to begin in the academic year 2023-2024. Terms of employment, including salary, relocation, and start-up packages are competitive and on par with similar offers by universities in North America.

·Requirements:

1. Candidates must have either:

? A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field or

? A master's degree and 4 years of relevant professional experience.

Candidates with superb communication skills or teaching/training experience are strongly invited to apply.

SCUPI is an academic entity jointly established by Sichuan University and the University of Pittsburgh. Approved by China’s Ministry of Education in 2014, SCUPI is one of the large-scale partnerships between a top US university and a top-rate Chinese university. SCUPI now enrolls around 850 undergraduate students in five majors, including Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The technical curricula of SCUPI comply fully with those taught at the Swanson School of Engineering (SSOE) and the School of Computing and Information (SCI) of the University of Pittsburgh.
